The solution is to put your computer to sleep and only shut it down when necessary. that's why I was wondering if there was some way to keep the performance but make the power requirement work perpetually. however, it just moved the loading times to when I booted up, because I had to reload all of my files everytime I booted up. Do they compare in performace to RAM disks? I made a 48 GB RAM disk on my setup, just to try it, and loading screens were virtually gone, compared to my 840 pro.
